Collectors' item or use it in your vintage aerobatic model.
This is the goldhead version of the original Ross twin, released in 1976. The original motor was about as powerful as a .46 size motor, but the goldhead was upgraded and the performance improved to that of a single cylinder .60 of the time.
I haven't run the motor, but it was run and stored by a previous owner. It is a bit gummy but turns over quite easily and has plenty of compression. With a good clean out it would be as good as new.
My plan was to use it in a Curare or similar model, but I have too many projects lined up and I will probably never get to it, and I'm not a serious collector. So I would rather see it go to someone who will fly it and/or keep it as a collectors' item.
