Dle20cc with custom pitts muffler, surplus to requirements.
Converting my 120 size Pheonix yak 54 to electric.
Even though i've had this for a while it hasn't seen a lot of work. Maybe 25-30 flights because im simply too lazy to take all the stuff i need to fill up etc etc to the airfield.
I'ts easier just to plug in an battery and fly which the way im going with this one.
It is a lovely motor though and of course with the DLE reputation of quality. I still do have a few petrol powered models.
The muffler is either a bison or another custom made brand to fit inside the cowl. Cost me about 150.00 back then
So all up value is over $500.00 so this is a bargain.
The ignition unit goes from 4.8 volts to 8.4 volts so you can use a lipo. No need for Nicads.
Performance :2.5HP/9000rpm
Idle Speed :1750 rmp/min
Static Thrust:6kg/100 meters Altitude
