OTW 1/48 Oberon Class Submarine RTR

Hi guys,

**Before you ask -

Yes, it’s fully scale/fully submerge capable static dive model submarine. No, it doesn’t have a camera fitted. Running a 2.4GHz radio/receiver system, top fixed periscope is to be visible at all times otherwise fitted failsafe surfaces the boat (this is not an issue, and is just part & parcel of operating rc submarines).

Listing one of my two OTW “O” Class Oberon Submarines for sale. RTR, I’ve since repainted both interior and exterior of the boat as well as updated most of the buoyancy foam inserts.

Purchased this year through Bob Martin at the Nautilus Drydocks USA. Please see video & photos attached.

Originally owned, built & operated by Dwayne Hill in Canada. Includes Dwayne’s custom built & super robust WTC (water tight cylinder/dive module). With emergency/failsafe gas cylinder fitted.

Boat is ready for the pond, fully serviceable, and was last operated by myself two weeks ago at my local scale warship club pond here in Perth, Western Australia.

Submarine kit includes the following -
- OTW Oberon hull fully built & tested over many years. But in excellent condition & provided by Bob Dimmack of OTW Designs UK (One of the finest & most accomplished rc submarine kit builders in the business).
- Dwayne Hill custom WTC/Fully submersible cylinder
- lead acid Battery (waterproofed).
- Radiolink 2.4gHz radio
- Scale fixed periscopes
