Superb kit. There’s a LOT of great-quality balsa and ply parts. You really get your money’s worth from Balsa USA! Completely built-up model (no foam) and quite large (nearly 1100 square inches wing area) but it quickly comes apart into two sections for easy transport.
The Enforcer was originally designed for .60 – 1.20 cu in engines using a ‘pusher’ propeller. Many have been built as electric (some guys have even used gas turbine… !).
The Kit box is still in good shape, and the kit’s contents are in great condition (the canopy is well-padded, unmarked, mint). The die-cutting is good. The kit’s original building instructions are included, and I can also give you the link to the RCM (USA) magazine article/plans/building file. A most-satisfying model to build, as well as to fly.
While capable of very fast flight (low drag) deltas can also slow right down and land like a trainer when you throttle back and lift the nose a little, using the huge wing area as a ‘speed-brake’. Deltas are well-known for being very forgiving and predictable in slow flight, and ‘on rails’ at speed!
The longer of the two plans sheets is about 94 inches (or 2.4 metres). The kit box itself is quite large too, at approx 107 x 13 x 21 cm. Weight is 3.3 kilograms approx. (Australia Post only allows up to 105 cm long) but I can have it couriered to your door to most of Eastern OZ, usually for only $30.
